Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and Rules of Conduct
(v.1.0 December 2025)
This Acceptable Use Policy and Rules of Conduct applies to all visitors, Users or Developers of the Cloudhands.ai website and digital marketplace platform at www.cloudhands.ai (the “Site”) including any and all listings to acquire a license, buy or sell, any interactions with other users of the Site, posting of any content/materials, offering to sell, purchasing or otherwise accessing or using the Site, Credits, tools or Cloudhands services (collectively “Services”).
1. General Conduct
1.1. Respect for Others: Users are expected to communicate respectfully in all spaces, including chat rooms, feedback posts, and private messages. Any form of harassment, intimidation, or bullying is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to offensive language, personal attacks, or derogatory remarks.
1.2. Prohibited Behavior: Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, age, sexual orientation, or disability is not tolerated. Any action intended to threaten, harm, or exploit another user will result in immediate action. Any action to misrepresent user identity. Any action to intentionally capture personal information of other Users for any purpose other than as allowed by Cloudhands.
1.3. Fair Interaction: Users must act in good faith in all interactions, maintaining honesty, transparency, and fairness in their dealings with others.
2. Content Guidelines
2.1. Appropriate Content: All content posted must adhere to legal and ethical standards. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, hate speech, pornography, and content that incites violence or illegal activities.
2.2. Copyright Compliance: Users must ensure they have the rights to share any content, including software, images, and text. Plagiarism, piracy, and unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material are not allowed. Content including AI content is owned by the respective Users or AI service providers in accordance with the applicable third-party terms associated with an applicable AI solution. 2.3. Constructive Feedback: Reviews and feedback should be factual, free from inappropriate language, and directly related to the product or transaction. Attempts to manipulate reviews (e.g., through fake reviews or incentives) are strictly prohibited.
3. Content Removal
3.1. Discretionary Rights: Cloudhands reserves the right to remove, edit, or restrict access to any content on the platform at its sole discretion if it deems such content to be in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy or otherwise unacceptable.
3.2. Notification: While the company strives to notify users about content removal and provide reasons where feasible, it is not obligated to do so in every instance.
3.3. Appeals Process: Users may request a review of content removal decisions by contacting Cloudhands pursuant to the notice provision at the end of this AUP, but the company’s decision following the review will be final.
4. Developer AUP Rules
4.1. Developer Terms: In addition to the terms applicable to Developers (see Developer Terms), Developers must adhere to the following Developer AUP Rules:
4.1.1. Accurate Listings: Developers are required to provide complete, accurate, and up-to-date information about their software products, including system requirements, features, and pricing.
4.1.2. Fair Transactions: Developers must adhere to the terms agreed upon during transactions with Users including any license terms and/or terms of sale required by Cloudhands as applicable to the acquisition of a license or purchase of any products or software listed on the Site.
4.1.3. Developer must honor any refunds, exchanges, and warranties applicable to products or software offerings if they are part of the listings set forth or described on the Site. See our Credits Policy and Cloudhands Terms of Service for more information on the purchase, exchange and refunds related to Credits on the Site.
4.2. Dispute Resolution: Disputes between Users and Developers should be resolved using the Site’s tools and services. Abuse of these systems for personal gain or to harm others is not acceptable. Refund requests may be directed to Cloudhands at the email listed at the end of this AUP. Refunds are subject to the terms of the Credits Policy and Terms of Service.
5. Privacy and Security
5.1. Personal Information Protection: Users are discouraged from sharing sensitive information, such as addresses, payment details, or login credentials, in public or private communications on the Site. Users and visitors that sell their content, products or services on the Site are prohibited from collecting any personally identifiable information that is not required as part of the transaction between Developers and purchasing users to deliver the Developer’s content, products or services.
5.2. Account Security: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts. Sharing account access or credentials is prohibited, and any signs of unauthorized access must be reported immediately.
5.3. Platform Integrity: The marketplace will employ measures to safeguard user data and privacy, and users are expected to cooperate by adhering to platform security practices.
6. Prohibited Activities
6.1. Unauthorized Access: Users may not attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the Site to which they do not have explicit permission. This includes hacking and unauthorized probing of the Site.
6.2. Malicious Intent: Any activity that compromises the functionality, security, or reputation of the platform is grounds for immediate suspension and potential legal action.
6.3. Violation of Applicable Laws: You must not use the Services to violate applicable laws or use anyone else's proprietary intellectual property rights. By using the Services, you agree that you will not violate any laws in connection with your use of the Services. This includes any local, state, federal, and international laws that may apply to you and the use of our Services including the use of Credits on our Site.
6.4. Intended Use: You will not use our Services other than as intended and may not use the Services outside of your allowed scope of use. You agree not to reverse engineer, scrape, process, or access the Services for any purpose, including monitoring, obtaining source code, copying anything on our Site, or sending any advertising or promotional material like junk mail or spam, or sell any portion of our Services or other third-parties' content on our Site without permission. See our Cloudhands Use of AI Addendum attached to the Terms of Service for use of 'Agents' and AI bots on our Site.
6.5. Intentional Interference: You will not introduce any bugs or damage our Services. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of our Services, our servers or any database connected or as a part of our Services. By way of example, you agree not to introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful to our Site, the Services or any other third-party content or Products on our Site. This includes any action by you intended to restrict or inhibit anyone's use or enjoyment of the Site, our Services, or which, as determined by us, may harm Cloudhands, its Users or Developers, or expose us/them to potential liability by the government or any third-party.
7. Reporting Violations
7.1. How to Report: Users can report violations through the support email listed at the end of this AUP.
7.2. Process and Confidentiality: All reports will be treated confidentially and investigated promptly. Users submitting reports are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible to assist in the investigation process.
7.3. Consequences of Violations: Depending on the severity, actions may include warnings, suspension, account termination, or legal proceedings.
8. Permissive Use of AI Bots/Agents
8.1. Use of AI Bots/Agents are subject to Section 7 of the Terms of Service (Responsible AI Use).
9. Copyright Infringement/DMCA Takedown Notification
9.1. Developers Responsibility: Developers are fully responsible for the creation, compliance, and legality of their products, content, policies, and uploaded materials. Cloudhands does not create or verify content posted by users and is not liable for ensuring compliance with the law. Developers must ensure that their content does not infringe on third-party rights and that they hold all necessary permissions for posting.
9.2. Content Moderation: Cloudhands reserves the right to remove any listings, comments, or content it deems to violate the Terms of Service or applicable law. Additionally, we may act against users who breach these terms, including assisting intellectual property rights holders.
9.3. Intellectual Property: Upon receiving proper notice of intellectual property infringement, Cloudhands promptly removes or disables access to the reported materials and notifies the affected Developer with instructions on filing a counter notification if applicable. In the case of copyright infringement, notices must comply with the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512).
9.4. DMCA Notices & Counter Notifications: To submit a DMCA notice, Users (or third-parties) must include identification of the copyrighted work and alleged infringing material, contact information, and statements of good faith and accuracy. Counter notifications require details of the material removed, a statement of good faith, and consent to jurisdiction.
